Beautifully made vintage Thomasville, reimagined as a sophisticated two-piece pairing that balances its traditional craftsmanship with a deeper, more modern finish.
Both pieces have been refinished in a rich charcoal with warm Provincial-stained wood tops, preserving the original patterned inlay as a subtle design detail rather than covering it. Original hardware was restored in a warm antique-copper finish, bringing just enough contrast to the charcoal and natural wood.
The three-drawer bachelor’s chest offers generous storage, substantial construction and dovetail drawers, while the coordinating nightstand brings graceful cabriole-style legs, a lower shelf and its own spacious dovetail drawer. The nightstand also retains its original integrated accent lighting, a wonderfully unusual feature that adds both function and character.
Together, the pair has the presence of furniture meant to anchor a room—warm, substantial and distinctive without feeling overly formal.
